Can You Postpone My Auction Date?

Only under certain circumstances, your lender may postpone your sale date. The stage you are at within the foreclosure process could determine your lender’s decision, the sooner you take action, the better chance you have to postpone. We know the tools needed to postpone a sale date and are successful in most cases, but we can't guarantee it because every situation is unique and different.

Relocation Assistance

Homeowner Resource Center assists homeowners who are ready to transition and relocate with qualifying and obtaining up to $10,000 for relocation assistance through various programs. Whether you qualify or not, our team members will work with you to find you a new place to call home!

Probate

Quite often, especially in cases of reverse mortgages, lenders will start the foreclosure process immediately following the death of the property owner. Not only are you now faced with the legal process of requiring probate, but in addition also with the challenges of your lender foreclosing at the same time.

In California, filing Probate can be a lengthy, stressful and very expensive legal procedure but still a necessary process to transfer property owned by someone who has passed away.

Bankruptcy

Some homeowners act on their lawyer’s advice and file bankruptcy thinking that all their problems are now solved. Bankruptcy does put a hold on everything, yes, but it only buys you a little time. The end result is almost always the property still goes to auction and you now have a bankruptcy in addition to the foreclosure on your credit report.

How To AVOID Scams

Scams target vulnerable homeowners who are having trouble paying their mortgages. Scammers often make false promises and charge money or fees for their help.

Our foreclosure prevention analysis is completely FREE. It is a complimentary service we offer and any payments you need to make will be made directly to your lender.
